Promotions are amazing tools for building a newsletter, but require the work of each author! Here are the rules, some tips for making this successful, and a bunch of imagines you can use to share on social media/your newsletter/your website! Thank you for joining the promotion and I can't wait to see what successes we can make happen!
Please share this promotion with your mailing list at least one time and on social media platforms as often as you like. All authors must share by their share date (or send me an email) or they may be removed from the promotion without warning. Please plan to share at least once, whether in newsletter or social media, within the first week of the promotion.
Genres that will fit well with this promotion are things like contemporary fiction, women's fiction, chick-lit, historical fiction, all romance (except erotica, fantasy, paranormal)... Genres that WILL NOT fit well: paranormal, thriller, horror, fantasy, poetry, self-help, children's books, YA, crime...
Covers must be clean and professional.
- If you are joining back-to-back promos of Ladies Love Lit, please submit different books. Authors submitting the same book may find their book removed. We need a fresh group of books each 2 weeks!
- Also of note, I run a website that has a page devoted to Indie authors (www.jmspade.com/indies). I point to this page with each newsletter as well as on social media. It gets a fair amount of traffic. Books that perform well in this promo may be featured on that page. If you would NOT want your book featured on my page, be sure to let me know with your application.
- Use hashtags when sharing on social media. Make sure each post uses the special hashtag, #LadiesLoveLit. Here are some you might use:
